I’m pleased to introduce a new therapeutic curriculum designed to support individuals and families impacted by addiction, compulsive behaviors, and major life transitions.

Ancient Wisdom, Modern Change weaves together timeless insights from the Book of Proverbs with evidence-based psychology, mindfulness practices, and creative tools to support meaningful, sustainable change. The program is intentionally inclusive, trauma-informed, and non-judgmental, welcoming participants from all backgrounds.

Rather than focusing on labels or perfection, the curriculum emphasizes discovery—learning to notice patterns, pause before reacting, and realign with what truly matters.

What to expect:

  • Weekly themes (“Worlds of the Week”) that guide exploration of awareness, cravings, identity, healing, and transformation

  • Mindfulness and meditation practices, including short in-session exercises and optional longer practices for the week

  • Wisdom-based reflections drawn from Proverbs and translated into practical, everyday language

  • Music and playlists designed to support emotional regulation, motivation, and healthy coping

  • Supportive materials for families and loved ones, offering guidance around boundaries, understanding change, and self-care

  • Flexible formats, including shorter intensives and longer group options, depending on individual needs

At its core, this program is about learning to return—again and again—to clarity, steadiness, and self-compassion. Change is not about never missing the mark; it’s about recognizing when we have and gently finding our way back.

Proverbs are not simply fancy quotations to recite and carry around but can be as Rami Shapiro writes, “something that carries you.”

If you’d like to learn more about this program or explore whether it might be a good fit for you or your family, I invite you to reach out.
